Concentration Piece #2
Process-I created my project by choosing the housing location and house type that I was going to basely project on, this being the traditional huts in Kenya. The idea of the layout of the hut as well as the architecture as that is portrayed within this house. I began my project by finding my reference images for my piece, as I then created the layout of my artwork by looking for ideas online with other reference images for this. I thence out the piece of board that I would use and sketched my reference images onto it with a pencil. I then began to go over my lines and areas that I have planned to incorporate it and went over them with a small black pen, and used pointillism in these certain areas. After this I erased the pencil marks that I had originally sketched onto my board and completed these small intricate details that I had incorporated into my penmanship on it.

Mid-Project Check In-
Peer Critiques-
-
Sensory- Anna Catherine Hunt suggested that I make sure that the lines within my piece are immaculate and clean entirely.
-
Formal/Technical-Maggie suggested that I add more pointillism dots onto the drawing of the roof looking from above to show more shadows to make it have a more realistic idea.
-
Expressive-Ms. Johnson suggested that I add a line onto the far right figure within the house to have it portray a more balanced showing.

Reflection-
Elements And Principals Of Design-
-
Element- I used shape in my piece when I created the items and the circles within the huts to form this concept.
-
Element- I used line in my piece when I created the lines throughout the roof to create an effect on the viewer of this perspective that I had there.
